I did our FUNPASS before we boarded and we had 5 in our party and really it made the process so easy!!! I know computers can be a pain but it was worth it in the long run!

When do you get information and instruction on how to do the fun pass? There are 6 of us cruising in August and I think this would be nice to do before we board.

I booked my cruise online and I also completed my funpass online. I believe you can do it up to a week before you cruise?? You just fillout the questionair and print it. It contains information about your plans for after the cruise, like airfare, rental car, hotel, so you won't be able to complete it until you have all that information. But, you can fill out as much as you can and save it and come back and finish. If you do it early enough, when your documents arrive it will say inside that the funpass is completed. My little booklet from carnival arrived about 3 weeks before we sail.

If you know your sailing date, ship and have your booking (confirmation) number you can fill out your FunPass at anytime. Just log on to the Carnival web site, find the funpass link and everything else is self-explanatory.

Overall, the FunPass idea is a good one. You get a good percentage of the "paperwork" out of the way from home and boarding is a little more streamlined. However, if Carnival has just updated the software and NOT fixed all the bugs.... Since the system is still being developed updates are fairly frequent and "issues" can make for a frustrating evening!

It only took me about 15 min to fill out. I did print a copy but they never asked to see it.

Yes, I was disappointed that they didn't even want to look at it, after I had gone to all the trouble to print it in color, on better paper to make it look "official". That's besides my 3 other copies in b/w, just in case I lost my "official" one!! Won't worry about it next time......which I hope will be soon!

the reason for the fun pass is saves you and them time getting you on board all the verified information is in thier system and it come s up for them to verify otherwise you have to wait for the attendent to type it all in and that take up alot of time, you have typed in all the stuff for them and they verify your documents and you are on your way to the bar, pool or buffet a lot faster then those who have to wait in line for them to type in all the information and facts, I always use the fun pass its so much hassel to fill in paperwork on the day of the cruise when you are hauling around carry ons or kids or whatever you take with you have fun on your next cruise
