Mike, it is my understanding that the tour is only available for purchase at the Shore Excursion Desk. So I'd get in line as soon as it opens to get a spot for the tour.

I found you all through John's blog as well. But, you need to quit talking about this behind the scene tour. (mummms the word) I will be on the Conquest on 11/8/09 and if 1 tour with 16 people is all there is going to be, then shhhhhhh, don't tell anyone else. I will be so disappointed if they sell out before my husband and I get to the shore excursion desk.
They may allow it to be booked at the Info Desk. I don't know though, the info I read said the Shore Excursion Desk. They will at least have two tours in my opinion since that's what they did while testing it, and they sold out. It doesn't hurt to ask at the Info/Guest Services desk upon boarding.

I thought I read that you could book it at the shore excursion desk, but good heavens, even having 2 tours, that is only 32 people out of, what about 2,700. Maybe most people aren't as interested in the ship as we are, but I just can't seem to look at enough pictures to satisfy myself, so I want this tour.
