On the SENSATION Oct 06 and Jan 07 While in freeport a whole lotta Flies On the ship was gross.

Last Sept coming back from Cozumel, a HUGE insect of some sort flew into our cabin from the balcony door. Never seen anything like it before. It was really big. Scared us all to death! We laugh about it now, but wasn't too funny at the time. It must have been hitching a ride from Mexico.

On the Grand Princess in 2001 - just prior to our boarding - a swarm of honey bees descended on the basketball court. A beekeeper had to be called in to get rid of them. No one was stung from what I recall. This was in Port Everglades.

Dave, I saw on the news that the bees are dissappearing from the U.S. This could be the reason. They are taking cruises to other places

Another weird thing I have seen is a couple of small birds got on the ship once. They were land type birds, not seagulls. They could not fly away at sea..I fed them french fries on lido for 2 days until we reached San Juan. Talk about luxury and lazy migration
