Leaving 4/28 on Glory

We received our cruise docs on Saturday. This is our first time cruising and I am so excited. My husband is not excited at all but hopefully that will change very soon. Has any other wives experienced this same issue?? Is Glory a beautiful ship? We are on the upper deck, how are those cabins??

Congrats on your first dose of this addiction.

Hubby loves cruising as much (or more) than I do, so I don't have a problem getting him on a ship.

Hi,

I have no pictures but as a two-time Glory traveller, including a cruise just last month, I can say that the Glory is a fine ship. Its well laid out, lots of different themed bars and places to go etc.

I stayed on deck 9, and never had an issue with the Glory staterooms.

Great pics PC,

I sailed on Glory 2005 and really liked it. And was even re-routed for Wilma, and still had a great time. It is the biggest ship I have been on. I met my "Cruise" friends on board, and now we sail together every year.

Here is a tip if you like fish, there is a Fish n Chip place upstairs in the casual dining area, 70% of people prolly don't know it is there and is less busy, and great fish.

Great Deli and Asian outlets as well in the main area.

Great pics PC GUY! This is our first "real" vacation since we got married 2 years ago. I have never been on an airplane either. Hopefully a few drinks will ease my fear. Any flying tips??

You are going to have the time of your life! I'm sure your hubby will be pleasantly surprised - we're about to go on our second cruise, and hubby LOVED the first one (and he didn't think he would!) The boat just rocks you to sleep at night, it's wonderful. Have a great time!

PS - We'll be on your ship as well! :-D

I just got off the Glory. We were on the Upper deck in 6263. The cabins are pretty spacious and the beds are AWESOME!
