now thats an Idear (im from NY) back to back sounds great. too colse to cruises for me ..I leave in 11 days....plus crusing alone like I do it would be much more than that I allways get screwed by the single rate http://cruise-chat.com/groupee_commo...icon_frown.gif

That is before taxes and port charges so it would come out to close to $400 including all that. It's cheaper to book it through Carnival.

That's an excellent point, Lexy. When comparing cruises from different sources, it is critical to ensure that it is an apples-to-apples comparison. Port charges and taxes can make up a considerable portion of the total cruise expenses.

We did this 5 day cruise in November and got the military rate of $199.00 for an ocean view. For 2 people it was $486.00 total so at $249.00 you still are only talking about $300.00 pp and let me tell you it was WONDERFUL! http://images7.fotki.com/v142/photos...33/lol2-vi.gif I had never done less than 7 days but this was actually a very nice 5 days though I would have loved more. I loved Grand Turks and Half Moon Key. I am thinking of going again if I can talk my daughter into it this time. Hubby can't get the time off.

This was the Florida resident's rate....past guest rates were a little more!!
