I'll bet you're bark is better than your bite!
Yip, yip. Better to disembark than to disembowel. Oooh did I say that. I must be giddy for my upcoming cruise.
Oh, believe me, I will tell you all about it. I am so excited that I just know I'm not going to be able to sleep tonight.
I am only just a little, (I'm talking teensie, weenie) bit bummed that it is only 3 day. I have been on 7 day cruises and 14 day cruises and they were too short then but this will break the gap between cruises so I can do a long one in the Spring.
Well, been there done that. It was great, in an ok sort of way.
Three days is nothing, you just begin to relax and then you have to pack it all up to get off. Never left the ship, hung around the pool most of the time. Ate, slept, ran, read. Never ran into Airleak or anyone else.
The Elation dining room was quite good, the buffet was boring and jammed with people who seemed to be trying to eat their way to a heart attack. JMO.
Really, more than anything it was a great time for mama and me to talk about life and the future. I learned some more interesting things about my father, (who I never knew.)
I'm going to have to save big time for my next one so I can do 8 to 10 days. I'll probably go for more of a premium line too like Holland, Princess or Celebrity. I'm kind of old fashioned and don't need the adventure offered by the trendy ships.
I feel like I spent more time in the air than at sea, long flights. Back to the books!
Welcome back Crissy, we missed you! I'm glad you had a good time, especially with your mom. I've cruised on Carnival, Royal Caribbean and Princess, and I do prefer RCCL and Princess over Carnival, although I had a great time on all three ships. Definitely, a 7-10 day cruise is a real treat.
