I know it will be a turn off after this cruise but this sounds like a good apology...
The problem from my stand point is there is a lot more expense that goes into a vacation.
Some will lose vacation time.
Some had an extra night at the port, which will need to be paid for if they go on another cruise.
Some may need an extra night when Carnival get them back to port. Maybe even two if they can not get a flight back. Dave is probably correct only the lawyers will win.
It must be pretty warm in the inside cabins. It does not sound like the AC is working. I wonder if the toilets are okay in the cabins. You can bet the passengers have it better than the crew.
However I do think Carnival is doing a good job on there part. I think they made a good offer.

I don't know what they would do. On the news link on Carnival's website, they stated that toilet facilities were restored to the cabins and public bathrooms.
