The cruise that I will be on ports for a day in Cozumel and Paya del Carmen. This will be my first visit to Mexico and I'm not sure if I need a passport. I'm an American citizen and carry a drivers lisense and birth certificate. Are these sufficiciant for deboarding in mexico?

Thanks

Seems odd to answer my own post. Anyway, for the benefit of others with the same question here it is-

US citizens should be ok providing the person has valid ID or Drivers Lisense AND a copy of original birth certificate with raised seal.
