has anyone been on the carnival Pride?

We are booked for the pride on 11/26/06 to the mexican riviera, has anyone been on this ship before? How is the ship and the rooms? This will be our first cruise and we are so excited.

To my tastes, the Spirit class of ships - of which the Pride is one - are the best designed vessels in Carnival's fleet. We have been on the Pride and the Legend and enjoyed both cruises immensely. Prepare to be impressed by the atrium and the specialty supper club. The cabins, like all of those on Carnival ships, are spacious and quite functional. Carnival has the largest standard cabins among all the mainstream cruise lines. Service for your cabin and in the dining rooms is of the highest quality. Great buffet choices too. You will really like it.
