My wife hits a thrift shop here in Houston run by Northwest Assistance Ministries, kind of like a Goodwill, occasionally. One day she came home so excited. She'd come across pay dirt, they were filling a rack with recent donations. She came home with about a dozen dresses and suits, all some sort of designer name and all with tags still on them. One cashmere, had a Neiman Marcus tag for over $600. and she paid twelve bucks for it. Deep plunging neckline, she wore it to our company Christmas party and looked amazing.
I don't always get off so lucky, she's a professional shopper. I tease her and tell people one of her credit cards was stolen but I didn't report it. The thief spends less than she does.
