The husband is fairly mean spirited if you ask me... There is no way there was a chocolate buffet late night on the last night of the cruise. He had the poor women hobble all the way to the lido deck buffet area for nothing.

You have to give her credit for her convictions though....there is a true chocolate lover..

I thought he was pretty cruel as well to put her through that, and then capture it on video! I am always shocked at how mean spirited people can be. Go get her some chocolate for goodness sakes!

The chocolate buffet on Carnival is typically the last full sea day - during the day! Certainly not the last night of the cruise.

I luv the MCC! It can be divided into at least two types - more soupy, or more solid.

I usually ask for a well-done one, but soupy can be good, too!

Jim and IslandCruz - You are much kinder than me, mean spirited and cruel are not the words I would use to describe that husband. In fact, I can't use the words that come to mind on this forum. Takes all kinds I guess.

Only two scoops because I also had the Cappuccino Pie that evening, I believe! ;-)

Here is another recipe that Carnival released when it did its House Parties. It actually served 20 using the plastic cups from Walmart.

1 pound Dark Chocolate
1 pound Butter
10 Eggs
10 ounces Sugar
6 ounces Flour

Melt the chocolate and butter. Mix the eggs with the sugar and whisk for a few minutes;
add the flour. Combine the egg mixture with the melted chocolate and mix. Then pour into
individual greased molds. Bake directly in the oven at 400° F for 14 minutes.

Sprinkle with confectioners’ sugar and garnish with fresh fruit. Serve warm with ice cream.
Note: Please make sure that the eggs are at room temperature and the chocolate is warm enough while making the mixture.
Serves 12.
