Med Cruise on Liberty on Sept. 28

We are from Canada and going on Med cruise, we were wondering if Croatia can be done on our own. For the Naples port, we are thinking of using a private tour excursion but is expensive, was wondering if it is worth it???

Anyone has info???

Do we wait to book the excursions on the boat or do we book them ahead of time???

We are a family of 6 and going on the same cruise. We have paid for an excursion through the ship $59.00 but from what I have read you can see and do everything on your own.
In Naples we have booked an excursion on our own through Drive Amalfi. The tours on your own are much less expensive than the ship and they drop you off closer to your destination. Smaller groups and less expensive always sound better plus you can cover more ground.
