Dwayne,
Sorry I didnt answer this earlier, I had to go to Florida and got back in late last night. I didnt even know they had built a River City up there, thats great...no better burger and onion rings!!

I agree, I do not go anywhere around that area this time of year, and its got to where it is bad year round down there.

Oh yeah, I am sure you saw on the news by now..Bingo is IN...not a lot of people happy about that.

Carol,

I did notice you had been away awhile, hope you had a great trip. Yes, crazy as always here and a good cheeseburger and rings are in order sometimes.

I wanted to ask your opinion, and others about this topic question. And what is up about some of the advertisements I see that don't include the fees or the taxes?

I thought they were suppose to include the port charges at least?

Most cruiselines quote the price including the port charges but not any additional fees or taxes. Some agencies will quote the price for cruise only, but then they are suppossed to show the port charges, taxes and fees and then a total price. I have noticed that some online agencies will advertise an extremly low price, but they have not added anything to it including the port charges.

Someone can correct me if I a wrong but a few years ago it was mandated that the cruiselines have to quote their prices including the port charges. Example: Carnival cruise, if you see it quoted as $279.00 for a 3 night cruise from port Canaveral that would be cruise of $190.00 plus $89.00 port charges, then the taxes are added. Some cruiselines quotes their prices with travel insurance included, you have to ask them to take the insurance off, or if you purchase airfare, they either include that in price or they show it seperate.

This is a good reason for people to get a TA they can depend on and trust to get prices for them.
