There have been some memorable Captains in our cruising life too. The Captain of the Norway in March of 1994 was wonderful - he clearly loved every moment with the passengers. I still remember his entering the dining room wearing a Viking Helmet and toasting us with shots of aquavit.

Captain Bill last year on the inaugural Freedom Of The Seas cruise. Sure, he was really a senior VP for the company but he was very nice and he also had a Q&A with the passengers where he answered any and all questions....no rules...except for company secrets.

How did the Captain on the Majesty answer the death question? I assume it was very caring and showed some sensitivity.
