Several posts/threads have suggested Clothes Pins for Shower Curtains - I don't really understand this. What or how are they used on shower curtains? And exactly what do they do to make things better? What do you clip them to other than the curtain itself?
Our shower stall on Fascination had a retractable clothesline that ran from one end of the shower to the other. It was convenient for hanging up wet swimsuits, etc...
Clothespins would have made it much easier, but just tossing the clothes over the line works, too. Of course, you need to take your clothes off the line before YOU get in the shower or they will get wet all over again!
Clothes pins are a lifesaver when dealing with those pesky shower curtains that love to become your best friend and cling to you. As Andrea states, they do the trick. However, you may want to check out the kind of shower stall that is in the bathrooms on your particular ship. Many of the newer ships (or those that have been renovated) have installed sliding doors to alleviate the problem making clothes pins unnecessary.

How would a sliding door not stick to you any more than a curtain. I just have this image in my head of wet flesh pressed against an acrylic door. Eeeeahhhhaaa.
Clothespins, "lifesavers"???? Wow, throw out the flotation collars. Are they really that important?

The clothes pins are intended to anchor the shower curtain to the floor. Believe me, it will stick to you as you're showering.
Clip a few to the bottom and... voila... you're showering sans shower curtain attached to your body.

A'ndrea, I think you could write a book. Do you think they ever wash those shower curtains that have been peeled away from countless cruisers? I guess the clothespins are important!
I always carry two "chip clips" with me on a cruise. Once, I tried to take a spark plug wire off of a lawnmower with a clothes pin and it shocked me. I still have clothes pin phobia.
