Does anyone know if Carnival has CC on port days. On The Glory I do not believe they did that but then I have gotten the impression they do have it on some ships. We are sailing on The Valor and I would like to leave the 7 yo on board some days.
Any infor would be GREAT!

I am also curious about this. I am going on the Celebration in 19 days. Are the kids allowed to stay at CC while we are in port?

some of the ships have the oportunity to let you leave the kids on board I know when we were on the victory, 2 children stayed behind on the ship in St john with the counseler while thier parents went on shore, we had a chance to chat with her on deck while the kids were on the waterslide, it depends if they have enough help on board and and how many kids are on the ship, we never used the cc on the celeration as we were without the kids but have used it on the victory and on the ncl seas

Yes there is camp on port days..you'll have to check the schedule for specific times, we were on the valor last year and we left our kids at camp when we went on a catamaran cruise in st. martaan.
good luck!

Absolutely- check the other thread on here- we were just talking about it. Little kids have to be signed in and out, but 9-11 can sign themselves in and out all day (if they have to run to the cabin or whatever).

My 11 year old is sitting next to me correcting: "you can actually go wherever you want as long as you tell them where you are going."

Hours are from 8:30 am (so you can grab a tender no prob) until 10pm (same closing time as Fun Day at Sea). CC takes the kids to dinner at 5:45 on all days, so if you want to use the camp between then and 7pm you have to make sure you have him or her there by 5:45 (get there at 5:46 and you are outta luck til 7).

Hope this helps. Any other questions, let me know!

Carla

We are going Easter Week, Do you think there will be too many kids for us to still be able to do that? I don't mind my 9,11 & 12 YO signing in and out but I SURE don't want my 8 YO doing it!

JBrooks, How did you like The Valor?? We switched to this ship after Katrina because we were supposed to sail out of New Orleans.
Did your kids like the CC?

Swimmers: under 9 have to be signed in and out by by the same parent that signed them in.

We went in August and CC wasn't even half full- I think the older kids tend to use it less as time wears on.
