Carnival has some of the best escargot that I have ever had the pleasure of eating. RCCL's are good plus you won't have to worry about vampire attacks for the next milleneum. (Lot's of garlic) They look and taste nothing like what you are thinking about. Come on, people eat mushrooms all the time. That is fungus in the same class as mold. Speaking of which, penicillin is one of the greatest medical breakthroughs of all time and that is nothing but mold. Escargot is very good when correctly prepared. It's not even an "acquired taste". They are simply good.
