does anyone know which is the best side of the ship to be on to get the best view while in the ports , southern caribean?.We have a suite its room number 7158 and Im thinking its on the left side of the ship. its our 20th aniversery and we would like the best view of the islands ,(at least for breakfast on the balcony). also, if anyone has tips on the best excursions,we have been to St.Thomas and would like to go to St. John this time.

We celebrated our 10th year anniversary in cabin 7189 - penthhouse suite. Right side of the ship -port It seems like on 2 days ina row we saw some incredible sunsets. Is's 50/50 I am sure the otehr side has it's beneifts as well

Port or Starboard really won't matter unless you want the sunset or sunrise on a particular day of your cruise. What you miss going down you will see coming back. As for ports, in St Thomas, the ship typically backs in with port side to the pier, making the starboard side the best views. In StMaarten, the starboard side will typically be at the pier, making the port side have the best views. You'll enjoy either side. I would be more particular for my cabin to be more aft of middle than worry about which side.

thanks for the info on the balcony sides . I feel I booked this trip (and its not our first, though its our first with no kids !!) so far in advance that I am over reseaching and analysing it, I just need to relax and enjoy !!

Congratulations on your 20th. If you have time, order your champagnes and wine before you go. It makes for a nice cruise and if you order and pay in advance it's one less expense to look at on your bill.
