Is anyone sailing on Carnival Spirit from San Diego on March 15, 2007? I tried to scross back to see if there was a roll call, but because roll calls are not in a separate section in cruise-chat, I may have missed it.

Nope you didn't miss it, I never saw one. My daughter and I and my grandson are going we are in an oceanview on the Riviera deck. I posted to your message about the price, I paid about 1900. out the door for the inside guarantee room, got upgraded to a window. I wish I had waited another couple weeks to purchase. Who is going in your party???

It is just my husband and myself (late 60s) this time. Some people from another site, cruisecritic.com are planning to meet right after the drill. If you are interested, you can go to that site and check the carnival roll call boards for this sailing. I will look forward to meeting you.

Wienergirls, I put this in my other thread, but in case you check this, not that one. Why don't you try to see if the cruise line will compensate with an onboard credit? I think I have read that people have occasionally gotten cruiselines to do that when the price drops after final payment. Good luck! In any event, you will really enjoy an outside cabin. This is the first time we are going inside. We have never had a balcony, but always an ocean view.

Just got back from the cruise. We had a great time. It was beautiful weatheras a whole. When we left San Diego it was raining, as it was when we returned. This had it a ruff 1st and last day for some.
