Love these $100.00 certificates!!

hi everyone......i am new to this forum....usually spend most of my time on cruisecritic.com......dh and i are going b2b on the freedom in october to celebrate our 50th anniversary......and i was thinking about purchasing a future cruise certificate while on the ship for our next cruise .......we have the carnival credit card and will use the points to get $100 obc....and plan to purchase 100 shares of carnival to get the $100 obc for each of the cruises..........can you use the future cruise certificate credit with these other credits.

That's a very good question. I wish I knew the answer off hand.

Does anyone have a recent copy or information about the fine print for the certificates?

I hope it wouldn't be a problem using them in conjunction with the Fun Points. I've been waiting a long time to finally use mine.

Does anyone know if the certificates they are currently using are issued with names on them? The reason I'm asking is I was thinking about asking a friend to get a few for me. Thanks.

We just purchased a couple of certificates when we were on the Miracle in April and they do have the persons name on them that purchased them. Hope that helps.
I would very interested whether they can be combined with stock share OBC as well.
Does anyone know out there?????

Sorry for the delay in replying, the answer is yes they may be used together.

"Please be advised that the 2 promotions are combinable. The guest will need to mail in their Future Carnival Vacation to Special Programs as per the instructions on the back of the certificate. The certificate will need to be mailed registered/certified mail."

Sometimes it takes a day or two.

Interesting. Royal Caribbean stopped letting you double dip over a year ago. You can't have two on board credits coming from Royal Caribbean. You can however; have an on board from Stock or on board booking, and also one from a Travel Agent.

Still waiting for mine to be applied! I sent it 3months ago.. I am worried they will lose it.. I have the copy of it and the email confirmation from USPS but they should do them as they come in NOT weeks before you go.. I have 6mo yet to wait

I sent mine in for our August 1st Splendor cruise back in February (I think) I am about to make our final payment so I'll get to see what we have soon... but I am with you... until I see the OBC on my account I'll be worried that they have been lost. It would be nice if they sent a confirmation email or something to let you know they have received them...
