we are booking on the Liberty for 10/27/07. Any info on the stern outside staterooms on the corners where they are odd shaped? They appear a little bigger but I am worried about noise from the engines and propellers. Any thoughts from anyone?

If I had to guess, I would say the rooms are very large and the vibration and noise will probably be minimal unless you are a very light sleeper.

I suggest you call Carnival and asks them about these rooms. They may be some with wall to wall windows or something else that is fabulous. However call Carnival and they can tell you exactly why that room looks so different on the diagram.

I suppose I am of a rare and strange lot of cruisers. I actually like hearing the goings on and hummings of the ship. To me it is comforting and part of being on a ship.

To each their own about noise and cabins on a ship vs. hotel rooms on dry land.
