Oh, that is great!!. Have been on several Carnival cruises in the past several years and seems like the Victory had more negative comments than what I was expecting. I have always been very pleased with every cruise....think a cruise is what you make it to be. I will be anxious to hear about yours when you return home. Have a wonderful trip!

Yes, they do charge the "tips" on to your sail and sign card [your credit card] and it is about $70 per person. You can go to the Purser's desk and request that the tips be removed or request envelopes so you can divvy up gratuities [up or down]. On previous cruises,that I have been on, envelopes were placed in your cabin, and everyone would show up that day because they "knew" it was gratuity time on the last evening at sea.
