something else to consider...on our last cruise I booked an "ocean view" cabin on the front of the ship. several of the decks have a wrap around walkway on the front. There was very little traffic in this area. So, it sort of felt like we had a balcony, but we had to walk about 10 feet to get to it.
And, no I did not stand out there on the first night and shout "I'm king of the world"

Do you recall if the area had chairs of any sort? Someone asked this about those cabins once. I went up there on the Glory and didn't see any. The area has an awesome view and very little traffic as you noted. I don't think many people know how to get to it. It was part of my "secret door" wild goose chase.
