Sonny is right. I did a little experiment of my own on a very rough night on Island Princess; I walked up and down all three stairways--forward, midship and aft. I could feel the motion increase as I went from low to high and decrease as I went from high to low. Lower decks at midship were the best; higher decks forward were the worst; aft was worse than midship but not as bad as forward.
I had one of those cabins on the Conquest.
There is very little traffic there. The deck just wraps around the front and does not continue down the side of the ship. There is a stairway right in the middle. When the ship is moving, there is a 25mph breeze.
My wife and I were up in the front one time and about midnight we were woke up by the ship hitting and rolling over VW's . It bounced every 10 minutes or so. But once we figured out that no one was in the little cars we went back to sleep. LOL
