Sensation - April 1st

My daugther is cruising on the Sensation this Saturday (April 1st). She is 14 and a first time sailer - sailing with her best friend's family for spring break.

Are there still problems with the Sensation? I've heard that there are issues with the propulsion system and that Grand Turk has been taken off the itinerary. Does anyone know exactly where this ship will be sailing and what the new itinerary is?

I doubt it really matters to three 14-year old girls, but I was just curious.

I sailed on the Sensation on March 23. We were in the parking lot from 1pm til 9pm with no food, water or bathrooms. Have your daughter bring things with in the car in case she is stuck like we were. There were 6 major safety violations, that was the reason for the delay. Fire doors and lifeboats were not working. Don't know what else was broke, they told us nothing. We heard our news from the news reporters that came to interview us thru the fence. Good luck to your daughter on this ship.

WE SAILED ON MARCH 27TH AND WAS SUPPOSE TO GO TO TURKS BUT WAS UNABLE TO AND NO ONE TOLD US ANYTHING UNTIL WE BOARDED THE SHIP AND A PIECE OF PAPER WITH ITINERARY CHANGE WAS GIVEN TO THE 14 YR OLD IN OUR GROUP. NEVER WAS TOLD BY STAFF. OUR ITINERARY GOT CHANGED WE WENT TO FREEPORT INSTEAD AND THE WHOLE SCHEDULE CHANGED-WE WERE AT SEA ON TUESDAY WHICH WAS TO HAVE BEEN FRIDAY. HOPE SHE GETS TO SEE WHAT SHE PAID FOR BECAUSE WE DIDN'T AND DIDN'T EVEN GET ANY RESPONSES FROM CARNIVAL ONCE WE WERE BACK AND EMAILED THEM SEVERAL TIMES ABOUT THE PROBLEMS ON THE SHIP.

If I may be so bold to ask: What happened to the Sensation? Was it one of the ships docked in New Orleans for the last few months? Just curious...
