Yes there is a topless sunbathing area on most of the Carnival ships. Its secluded and roped off at the bottom of the steps. Its up on either 11 or 12th deck. You have to be over 18 to go up there.
Some ships (not sure about the Valor) also have an adult only pool. You have to remain completely clothed, but it is not "suppose" to have children there for some adult rest and relaxation. Sadly, this rule is not always "enforced" by Carnival.

Have a great cruise.
was on the valor a few months ago and it has an adults only pool in the rear of the ship. In early May it may not be to kid heavy, however, late May-Sept it is full of Kidos.
All Carnival Ships have a topless deck. The topless sunbathing deck is at the highest point on the ship, just below the base of the funnel. There is privacy fencing, and a gate going up the stairs warning that it is a topless deck, no cameras or minors allowed.
The topless deck is prolly the best place to get away from kids and prudes and just enjoy the nudes...lol naaa ...it's not all about the topless women actually. it's about quiet relaxing times. theres no kids running past you theres no 350 pounder trying to squeeze by your chair to get to the buffet and knocking over your drink. it's people who may or may not be topless. and who actually cares if they are or not? it's just another body. and most you wouldnt want to look at anyway. On the other hand ...I have met some real nice topless women as well as topped women up there and have had an absolute blast. It's all about the nice quiet deck all to your selves. I go to read....no really.... Look to the funnel and dont bring any cameras...lol if you see my myspace account youll see they dont enforce that rule at all. there were people up there with video cams....it's a great place to get some..sun Mroctober my space
The topless deck is great to get away from the kids on the ship. It is also a great place to find a lounge, when there are none left on the other sections of the ship.We have been on the topless deck when it became a c/o deck.I have to guess that no one complained,so that is how it stayed for that day. I have confronted voyagers with cameras and ran them off the deck, I hope all passengers will do the same. No one wants their picture on a web sight without their knowledge or permission.
