Hi. Just got off of Pride. We lost 1 day because of propulsion break down. The ship itself is gorgeous. Make sure to check out the funnel through David's Supper Club. It is a well-maintained ship. The Normandie dining room is beautiful. We were seated upstairs, 8:15 seating in a booth for 4 (per our request). The food is delicious. Beef Wellington, Duck, Lamb, shrimp (served in all ways),lobster tail, prime rib, chicken, turkey, esgarcot. Do not miss the warm chocolate melting cake. It is served in a ramekin and it is unbelievably decadent. I wish I had that recipe. It's on the menu every night. The key lime pie was also quite delicious. Keep your eyes on the water on your 1st and 2nd days at sea. We saw dolphins following the ship and lots of whales. One suggestion I have that we made sure to do is..... BRING YOUR BINOCULARS! If you don't have any, buy them. It's well worth the investment. Other people were squinting to see the whales. We saw them perfectly. What a sight that was. Also, bring a fleece jacket. Nights are cold up on deck. The daytime air was also cool even though the sun was hot. Especially if you're a runner or a walker. The top deck is windy.
