the bartender told me it had 151 rum in it , but wouldnt reveil the secert juice's other other specials didnt look that good. i had a penacoloda it sucked. i got some cocanut heads that hold your drink in them , there cool. the best time i had was the cocktails and the umbrellas.
There was a great bartender on Triumphs promenade casino bar, Simonia. My instructions each time was "fix me whatever you want me to have!" She got a big kick out of experimenting and I tasted a lot of neat drinks I would have never otherwise tried. She enjoyed it because it was a break in "routine"-she'd simply ask how I felt and came up with something accordingly - even a drink that helped by cough one day! My favorite was the BBC - Banana, Baileys, and pinaColada!

What's in a "Fun Ship"? Well, if you buy the cocktail guide the recipe is in there (page 3 actually). Without plain giving it away, here's what's in it... Vodka, light rum, apricot brandy, amaretto and fruit punch. I think the trick mught be in the fruit punch (as in what brand they use). Can't get mine to taste the same.
I like the carribean breeze and yellow bird myself.
Carnival mixes their own fruit punch. It is my son's favorite "cocktail". 2 oz Orange Juice, 1 oz Pineapple Juice, 1 oz Whiskey Sour mix (liquid form), and 0.5 oz Grenadine. We increase the recipe and make pitchers of it. Great as a simple mixer with rum, where it really becomes a Bahama Mama.
A Carnival bartender told me to use dry sour mix to make up the liquid sour, and not to buy bottles of ready-made sour. She said the powder was better for the punch - not as sweet.
