I agree with 29dawgs, I always take a cab. Transfers are typically overpriced, slow to load and get on the road and the more hands your luggage goes through on the way to your cabin the higher the probability you'll be renting a tux. Almost all the issues I've had to help clients through with luggage lost/delayed involved a transfer.
If you're doing Alaska from airport to pier in Whittier or Seward get the transfers, same in Rome/Civitaveccia. Other than that get a cab, limo, friend, car rental, anything but a transfer bus.
On the return trip they do offer the transfers to the airport. Not sure what they charge but we thought it would just be easier to make the arrangements ahead of time.

Neil, do they still offer the RT $45 transfers from ORL to PC? It seems decent, but don't know about the air deviations aspect of it being available?
Both my family and a friends family did the Orlando to Port Canaveral thing. We arranged our own transport and it was $105 plus tip at the time (Feb 2006). More than 3 people paid for itself. I really liked the one we hired. His name was Marty, Orlando Taxi, he has a web site and phone 1 877 261 4200. When our ship was held at sea, we called him and he was one of the few drivers who were still waiting when the ship pulled in late. We will use him again.
IslandCruz, guess it's been a while since you bought transfers, at least from Orlando to Port Canavral. They have gone all the way up to $70. pp round trip, ouch!
Neil, Thanks. No I have never bought them, I always drive. Have some friends that fly in and use the bus. I can understand them going up with the fuel prices. But talk about ouch, the pier parking has went to $12 per day!
CruiseDad, Thanks also. I have made a note of your recomendation.
Our flight is booked through Carnival and they have us in a day early and have booked us a Hotel in Miami. Are we responsible for transfers? (airport to hotel then Hotel to port)
If so, has any ever transfered from the Miami Hilton Airport to Port of Miami?
Cost and time frame would be good to know?
