Your reservation may be guaranteed for a certain type of cabin, with that number being assigned when you check in. Do not be alarmed at all. You might even get a higher level room than you would have with a pre-assigned cabin.

If you booked an assigned cabin, then you can pick your cabin at time of booking. If you booked a guarantee category you will not know your cabin number at time of booking as you may be upgraded.

If your cruise docs arrive and say Cabin:TBA you can call 10-7 days before your cruise and get your cabin assignment. You in no way have to wait to the day you get on to know your cabin.

I usually get the same room everytime I cruise.
I just Booked another cruise for January 25th.
I use Cruise411 dot com. I pick my cabin.
I allways stay on the Empress deck. on Fantasy Class ships in room E181 there is no room next to it on either side. there is a closet on one side and elecrtical and plumbing on the other so I hear no noise from other rooms. It's the first door from the stairs and elevators so there is'nt too far to stumble when it's time to leave the Karaoke bar. the resturant and lounge is right up the stairs. very convieniant. as I cruise alone the room work's out perfect for me

i wa on E deck 1 st cruise got bumped up from R deck, this cruise where oN R deck ,prob be bumped agian i hope , E deck is better.

We do have a garaunteed ocean view room im glad to hear we possibly will get upgraded thats freakin sweet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It wouldn't be a bad idea to call your travel agent, or whoever you booked with just to keep it in front of them. You know what they say about sqeaky wheels!

Hubby and I have a OV Guarantee booking on the Freedom for next May. We're keeping our fingers crossed for a nice upgrade, but you never know, I guess. This is our first "guarantee" booking; previously we've always booked assignment.
