Carnival web site

We had booked a Guaranteed Cabin on the Valor through Expedia. It says we have an 8A balcony upgraded to 8C balcony. I went to Carnivals site and entered our booking number and the 8A cabin number came up.
Is this really our cabin or do we get the upgrade at the port.

It's possible that the web site hasn't updated the information. I'd watch it for a couple of days, and if it still says you're in an 8A, see if you can contact Expedia for clarification.

Since it is a "guaranty" booking, wouldn't Carnival's website just show the guaranty cabin level right up to shortly before the cruise? I know if you book through them, they don't show you the room you were given until the last minute. Maybe Expedia knows what has been assigned and Carnivals not saying (because technically it could change before sailing)?

If you booked a 8A rate with a upgrade to 8C then it should be giving you a cabin number for 8C. Something sounds wrong here.

Thanks all. Cruise Fanatic is right again, something is wrong. I am making another post about this issue.
