Leaving on carnival holiday in 6 days!

Well you guys, today will be my last post till i reach one of the internet cafe's on the ship or cozumel. All the advice you have given me has really helped us prepare for our first cruise. We are leaving on Sunday to head to Mobile,AL. Monday we depart on Carnival Holiday. So excited! This is the best way to spend a honeymoon i think. How early should we get to the cruise terminal? And anymore suggestions about cruising would be excellent! Thanks everybody!

I like the Holiday very much. Just keep in mind it is an older ship - which actually adds to it's charm. The only internet is inside the library. Both desktops and wi-fi if you bring a laptop. A package of minutes is the best deal.

The port of Mobile is well-run and the people are the friendliest I have found at any U.S. port.

Hi. I can only speak for us. We try to get to the terminal at least 1 hour prior to when they say boarding starts. If they won't let you board, you should be able to stand in line. Trust me, the line can be verrrrrry long. If you have nothing to do the day of the cruise, might as well go down early. Trust me, you won't be the only ones. Dave: If you wre going to take a short cruise, which ship would you prefer Holiday, Fantasy Class Ship or Sovereign of Seas? The specials are pretty good for this coming winter on all of them. Living in nashville, the mobile port sure seems convenient. thanks for any input you may have.
