I also want to point out that we do not allow threads that give tips or advice about smuggling alcohol on board against the cruise line's policies. Just a pro-active note before someone decides to go there.

I know you can bring wine,but they will charge $10.00 as a cork charge and they will store it for you during the week. thats what we do

You cannot bring your own distilled liquor at the embarkation port. You can bring your own wine bottles but they will hold them for you until you request a bottle at dinner time. Plus they'll charge you a corkage fee for each bottle. Any liquor bought in a port city will be held for you upon returning to the ship and delivered to you on the last night of the cruise along with any bottles purchased on board.

Just a clarification, to my knowledge they don't confiscate any wine brought on within the legal per person allowable quantity. They will keep your wine if requested in the dining room for you.

Unless this is something really new, and they haven't updated their FAQ section.
