Okay, Is it just me or did any one else love the cruise? I miss it so much, I cant wait untill I have saved up enough money to go again!
The Rooms on the ship was beautiful!
My favorite was the "Mikado Lounge". It was so beautiful...
Another was the "Cole Porter Lounge"...All the rooms on the ships look like the have spent a ton of money on them. Its crazy, It took a little getting use to tho, trying to find me way around. Well post back if anyone else got lost on the ship too hehe

Thank you for the review, Meghan, and welcome to the world of cruise addiction!

I haven't been on Elation, yet I have gotten lost on many other ships. It's all part of the fun...unless you're trying to find the dining room!

I had a great time a month ago. The only drawback for the west coast cruises is the time zone change. The midnight gala buffet and midnight mexican buffet were at 3:00 in the morning for me.

My wife was suffering from insomnia and woke me up both nights - I figured if I'm up now, I might as well go an enjoy the festivities.

We were on the Elation last Nov. I too loved the ship. I liked the way the halls were lit up. Yes, the rooms are great as are most Carnival ships since have gone to down comforters and pillows. The beds are like sleeping on a cloud. We just returned from the Valor on Sunday and we enjoyed the same beds. The only drawback from the Elation were the lifeboats off the lido deck. They obstructed a lot of the view.

My wife and I were on Elation December 06 and we loved it. I was hesitant about taking cruises for a vacation until that one and now I am hooked.

I loved the Elation and considering I didnt have any thing else to compare it to Carnival found a life long member in me with that ship. I do have to agree with San, the life boats did kinda obstruct a view but beside that it was great.

The ELATION was my first........And we all remember our first loves. She's a grand ship and a great memory for me.
