Carnival discounted the price of my cruise.
Because of the chat boards, I called and recieved the discount on a previously bought (but not completely paid) cruise to Mexico. An easy $250 phone call. Now here is the question, if the cruise is discounted again on the internet, will Carnival (my TA) give me a second discount?
Its a good possibiity depending on the reason for the price decrease. After final payment its harder to get it from Carnival. If its say a one day sale and you have already paid final payment then chances are no you wont get it, but if your final payment date has not passed and you fall into the criteria for the new price then yes..what carnival usually does is cancels and re-books it at the new rate.
on the same note, i received a 250/p.p. discount for being a past passenger with princess cruises, eventhough the cruise was 1996 when princess was still independent. So it helps to keep all your records - lol. All they wanted to see is proof (account statement, boarding pass etc)
I got mine at at real good discount I think??? The total price was 224.00 tax and all! I am booked for jan 11 on the holiday going to mexico for 4 nights and 5 days. I think that is a great deal. It actually was 189.00 plus tax!! I found my online just looking everywhere and using past passenger discount. Hope this helped! Thanks
Always good to explore options. I got a nice discount on a balcony upgrade on my last cruise just because I'm a veteran. They don't always offer discounts up front, you have to ask, ask, ask!
I allways have to pay more because I cruise alone.
I see these $179.00 for 3 day deals and I sign up and end up paying $300.00. Whaaaaa.....
I wanted to upgrade my Jan 25th 3 dayer on the SENSATION to a Balcony but it looks like it will be almost a $1000.00 for just the three days for me alone.
if I do That then what are the Slot Machines going to eat?
