I was told when I got my tickets for my wife and two children that I could probably upgrade when I got on the ship. How does one go about upgrading?? This is mine and my wifes 15 year anniversary and we are looking very forward to this trip. Kids have seperate room(wink wink)We sailed on the elation 2 years ago and had a blast. Also what is the best parking arrangements down there?? thanks Danny

Congrats on the anniversary! The best place in my opinion would be the cruise terminal itself. I found that they were very helpful and the whole parking process was very quick. The porters are waiting for you to pull up and they just ask if you need help or anything. If you were to get upgraded, they have a seperate folder that has that info. Only cost 60 dollars to park. Hope that helps!

Congrats on your anniversary!!! Please let us know how the cruise goes as we'll be on her in March. As far as the upgrades, if they have vacancies on the day of departure, they could upgrade you. Visit the purser's desk before you go to your room. They might be able to handle that upon pier checkin, but I've always been told to go to pursers. one thing that may be difficult is upgrading both cabins and still keeping them within the regulations. Good luck though and have a great cruise!!!

You leave the day I get back. I am leaving on Thurs, 1-11-07 on the Holiday. What does it cost to upgrade when you arrive at the ship? Is it cheaper?

When you state your tickets were upgradable did you purchase a guaranteed stateroom or did you get cabin assignment upon booking?

A guaranteed is considered upgradable...it means you will get no less then the catagory you paid for but you could get upgraded..and upgrade means if you purchased a 4A guarantee, then you are guaranteed a cabin on Riverea deck, but could get upgraded to a higher deck. It really doesnt mean if you purchased a 4A guarantee that you could get upgraded all the way to a suite.

Congratulations on your anniversary and I hope you have a wonderful cruise.
