Folks who have cruised within the last month may already know this...but they were not doing this in March...so it was a first for us.

You now remove your "colored" luggage tags from your suitcase and place BLUE plastic tags with numbers on them before you put your luggage out on the last night.

Then they call by NUMBERS now (VIP and early flights being number 1). Your luggage is lined up by numbers in the warehouse.

This was in New Orleans. Not sure if the other ports have converted yet. I guess they a) ran out of colors b) had problems with passengers knowing pink from salmon.

Last week on the Pride we still had several different colors depending on your cabin location.

We were "Dark Pink" which was also labeled as "Fuschia" or "Flamingo" depending on which sign I looked at. It appeared that everyone figured it out though as most everyone was off the ship by 9:30am. Debarkation went remarkably well last week.

But I think the numbers sound much simpler!

When I got off the Liberty last weekend we used the number system. Everything was very smooth. I liked the way it was done.
