Getting from the airport to the port in Miami.

Hi, we didn't get the transportation and the flight through the cruise line because my dad is giving us his frequent flyer miles to fly to Miami. Does anyone have some suggestions on the best way to get from the airport to the port. Has anyone done this before? What were your experiences?

well living in Miami, the port is about 25-30 mins away from the airport (depends on the traffic, too). You should have no problem getting a cab, the MIA is full of them, make sure to jump at the first one you see because there are thousands of people looking for one.

You can wave down a cruise person, depending what cruise line your going on, they are all around. They will take your luggage right to the bus and you can pay for your transfer to the ship right there.
