The only Carnival ship I have been on was the Spirit, and I thought it was great. Will I also like the Elation? It is starting a five day itinerary from San Diego which would be a good itinerary for us. Is it in good condition? I would appreciate comparative feedback from those of you who have been on both ships. Thanks!
Ellie
we can only tell you about the elation we went on a seven day cruise, the ship was very nice , the crew was also nice and very helpful, we had a balcony suite that was great watching the sunset.the food was really good ,we enjoyed having room service. we will go on this ship again.
The Elation is a nice ship. We cruised her on the Western Caribbean. We had phenomenal service on her. Our wait staff was very attentive and took a special interest in our daughters. They made sure our girls non-alcoholic strawberry daiquiris were topped with lots of whipped cream, they came over and danced with them during show time, spent time at our table asking us questions about where we were from, etc.
I agree that she is in very good condition and I would have no problems cruising on her again. A'ndrea
MY husband & I just came back from a five day Bahamas Cruise on Elation. It was wonderful. We did not run into anyone who did not love their job. Crew mwmbers constantly cleaning and serving you. We will be going again on Elation.
Our experince was more than I could ever have imagined it to be.
One more thing.. the last night at dinner was bitter sweet as we said goodbye to our wait staff.. they were like family and we had to say goodbye. SHANI.. Alexander... and Slyvia.. they were awesome.. hope you run into them.
We were on her a few years ago, in the Caribbean for a 7 day. The staff was wonderful, the ship was clean, the food was good, and we had a great time. I just prefer Princess, but that's me. You'll have a great time. Enjoy!
tamdanwood, You are absolutely right. The crew on Elation surpasses any ship we've cruised on thus far. I can't explain it. The ship is immaculate and the crew goes above and beyond to make passengers feel welcome and appreciated.
It's a great feeling. A'ndrea
