I guess Carnival will not send out those pretty blue ticket books even though i requested them. i had to print them last nite.. 39 days!!! til the cruise.

August 25th was the cut-off. Any sailings after August 25 will be electronic documents only.

tim c. - I truly do miss getting the cruise tickets in the mail, it doesn't feel quite the same printing them out from the computer! Then too - I miss the baggage tags too!! (The doc dance is more toned down to boot!!) But the cruise is always as great as ever!!

now instead of a book i have 8 paper to keep up with add that to printed plane tixs and you can have a mess. i let my wife handle it

Tim, Cruises departing yesterday (8-25) were the last that guests were suppose to receive the mailed tickets for. And those had to be requested by August 3rd. You wouldn't have received them that quickly anyway.

I hate it too. It is like an end to a cruising tradition in my opinion. Edoc dance just isn't the same as the real one!

I have all my envelopes with the pretty blue ticket books neatly arranged by date as keepsakes, and as a reference for the cruises. Oh well, I guess I'll have to start another system.

There's really no need to print all the pages. The Sail and Sign page is really the only one you need.

I won't go into the luggage tag issue! And just shortly after they perfected them with pre-printed "peel and stick".

Yes they were! I've actually never used the Edoc tags before. I've read plenty of advice here about the various ways of making them more secure. Not sure which method I'm going to use yet.

Didn't know about no more ticket books. Husband always liked to have them. Where do I find wayhs of making luggage tags more secure. I was thinking laminating them. Last time we had them all ready and then received some in the mail - but I guess that won't happen this time.???
