THAT was a convincing story. We live in Florida and plan on driving down for our cruise in July. Even then we are driving down the MORNING before. Your story goes to show that ANYTHING can happen. To the OP, good luck on your choice. I hope you can make the change and rebook for a day ahead of time if possible. The extra money for the hotel may seem to be unnecessary but it is a great peace of mind.
