I have heard and read many great reviews. And have some cruise friends that use it and love it. They always keep the kids occupied and entertained with the activities.

When we went last month , our 9 year old looked in the daily Capers paper, and picked and choose the things she wanted to do in the camp, went for a hour here or there, 11 year old could sign out be themself, 8 year old needs parent to sign out of camp. they will be in two different age groups and will do different activities,

It's wonderful. I can't say enough great things about CC. Inquire as soon as you board the ship. Representatives(wearing red jackets) from CC should be on-hand as soon as you step over the ship's threshold. They will have a desk set up with CC paperwork ready to be filled out. The paperwork will include medical emergency forms, allergy info., etc. The rep. will let you know when and where the first meeting is.

My 2 girls have been going to CC for years. They've made lasting friendships and correspond via e-mail and Christmas cards.

The Camp does such activities as:
swimming under the stars
sleepovers
pizza parties
make your own ice cream sundaes
waterslide get-togethers
talent shows
dance parties
There is just too much to list here.
Your children will never want to see you once you enlist them. Believe me.

If you choose... you can make arrangements with the CC counselors that YOU have to be the one to sign your 11 year old out of CC. That's always a good idea. Unless you don't mind if they wander the ship without you.

Have a great cruise.

Yup! Thanks Michele. Forgot about the B.B.W. I'm not sure if all CCL ships have one on-board. Pride does.

Diana, I'm not exactly where on Pride it's located. I believe it is organized through the C.C. Counselors and located in the C.C. area. There is a fee charged for making the bear. Probably the same as if you walked into any B.B.W. The attire for the bear is Carnival logo apparel, I believe. It makes a nice momento for a child. My 13 year old was too "cool" to make one!

I thought you had an all-girl thread going but I see I.C. got in early.
