I would like to speak with others traveling during this trip and see what excursions or travel tips you may have. I have only been on one other cruise and it was a 13day Disney and I think I spoiled myself...lol. I am nervous about traveling and will be with my new hubby (on our honeymoon) with our kids, 15, 12, 12, and7. Any tips or info would be appreciated.

Hi Susan from TX, this is Susan from TN. My husband and I traveled on the Conquest from Galveston in December of 05. We enjoyed the trip. Food and service were great, the balcony room we had was comfortable, and the kids programs seemed good. Getting on and off the ship was not a hassle. Like most cruise ships the only thing you have to do for yourself is get dressed and put the fork to your mouth when you eat. Everything else is done for you. This ship has self serve laundermat which is great when cruising with kids. Have a great cruise.
