Are you allowed to bring a laptop computer on board with you?

yes!! you may bring it on board and you can hook up in the internet cafe for a fee, we took ours so my brother could watch his dvd movies and play games in cabin when he stayed in, he is handicapped and did not leave the cabin to much.

They do offer WiFi if you have your own laptop. The internet connection is not cheap though. If you buy it by the minute it is 75 cents per minute. You can also buy blocks of time and get it down to 55 cents per minute. The only place you can get a connection is in the internet cafe. Well one exception to that, the Valor has ship wide WiFi so you an use your laptop anywhere on the ship.

The connection is not the best. I have tried to upload pictures on two cruises and it just did not work. If you want to check email or just surf around the net it will work fine.

They also will rent you a laptop if you want.

On our last cruise we took two laptops! One for my son to play his junk on, and one for me to use in the wifi zone and to keep notes about the cruise.
