Okay gang - here's something to think about - Carnival Cruiseline has a loyal passenger who has taken the same 4 day Baja cruise, once per month for the last 14 years!!!

He must like Mexico, probably likes Dos Equus, and likely attends the onboard Tequila sampling!

Talk about loyalty!! This must be some kind of a record!

Well, everybody needs a hobby. Sounds awfully monotonous although the person no doubt is on a first name basis with everyone in the crew.

The lady that lives on board Princess has him beat. She's lived on board for 17 years. However, she does change ships and itineraries. Sounds like a fun way to spend a weekend once a month, though.

I don't think Carnival has had the same ship on the short itinerary for 14 years. The Paradise went out to LAX in 2004 to start the short cruises. So at least he has seen a different ship. Maybe he's just stocking up on booze every month and selling it for a profit http://bestsmileys.com/lol/21.gif . Or he just loves cruising so much and needs to get that fix.

No, it wasn't on the same ship. The first time was on the Holiday in 1995. Here is a link to the news story. I think it would get a little monotonous too. If I lived near a port I would go every I could afford it though.

The guy should move to Miami.. then at least he could take different trips every now and a again.

I agree with you Dwayne, if I lived within a short drive to a cruise port, I would take more cruises. If you can get a 3 or 4 day weekend cruise for a cheap price, why wouldn't you? He gets served great food, can gamble, and in general has a great mini vacation. Who cares if you keep going to the same place.

Good points. I guess it has little to do with the same itinerary month after month - he probably stays aboard the ship so who cares where it goes?

I'd be in bankruptcy court if I lived at a port that had 3/4 night cruises.

That has been the hot trend in travel the past few years. Take several cheaper mini vacations, instead of one long more expensive vacation.
