I've received word that Carnival is moving away from the paper comment cards and the pleas to give inflated ratings to everything. They will continue to use them until existing stocks of the cards are gone.
Instead, Carnival will be moving to on-line feedback either by sending e-mails to recent guests or with a new process on the Carnival website. I expect to get a press release soon. Word is that those who complete the electronic versions will still be eligible to receive prizes, such as has been done for years with the paper version. |

I just got off the Triumph Saturday and didn't get any kind of comment card! Maybe already Discontinued?

Similar to porkchop's experience......We disembarked the Carnival Glory on Saturday and no "comment" cards were available!!

Ok Dave your right again. I got my email survey today. It was very extensive. It covered every area. Eligble for a free cruise if completed.

Welcome back Billy and porkchop! Sorry, I didn't see this until now. Hope you both had a great cruise! I love the Glory! The first time I didn't think I would as I kept getting lost with the dead end decks. After the second cruise she really grew on me. I think they started this process of winding down the comment cards a while back. One quirk about it I've heard is they only send one to the person who's name is first listed on the booking instead of everyone in the party/cabin. This new process should prove to be a more accurate feedback method though. Oftentimes guests were influenced into marking everything "above/exceeded expectations" by the crew. I normally marked "met" my expectations. Well, except the Carnival Pride..It truly did exceed my expectations. |

It's only been 4 months since I left the Valor and I truly cannot remember receiving or not receiving a comment card. I know I didn't get an email. What is the saying about the first thing to go http://bestsmileys.com/lol/21.gif

Well - this would leave us out from having to do one since my DH doesn't have an e-mail address and wouldn't know how to use it if he did ~ I was just having a conversation the other day about the expectations of everyone having - pick one - a computer / e-mail access; cell phone / voice mail; I-pod / smart phone, etc. I'm annoyed that society and business is determined to force me into this electronic world whether I want to go or not . . .

Try it Susan, you'll like it! I got all the above except the I-pod. http://bestsmileys.com/happy/7.gif
