OK, so I've read tons and tons of posts about booze smuggling (which I intend to do). But a different type question spurned from the post above. Once aboard and once your luggage arrives to your cabin and once you have your liquor that you have smuggled in your cabin, can you just walk about the ship or lounge by the pool or in the sun with a glass in hand and no one (cruise ship employee) knows the difference? I mean a cup or glass that you would buy empty or bring from home and fill in your room.

You could pony up on the first day for a "fun ship" (the first days daily special). After you finish the drink, that plactic highball that it came in is yours, so what you put in it, well...
Plus there's all the tumblers on the lido buffett that are available for tea, juice, water, etc. It shouldn't be too difficult to disguise a rum and coke in any of them.
What you will save on booze will be spent elsewhere on the ship!

I find buying their insulated water bottle with their logo on it the first day is a good investment for your "personal refreshments" for the week. Save the bottle for future cruises and pack it when you go.
just be careful with the booze.i have seen people try to get by security with carry on and it does not work. i also suggest you buy plastic bottles and wrap them in your checked luggage.as for on ship, once you are there you can pretty much do as you please, glasses are always easy to get.good luck.
Just booked an 8 day cruise for October on the liberty,,,Im thinking I may.....just MAY bring a bottle of captian morgan with me to help offset the sail & sign expence atleast a days worth anyway. as for my 3 and 4 day cruises it's not worth the worry or the Hassle.
just a few thoughts http://www.myspace.com/mroctober2u
So.. I am 20 years old, meaning I am not quite old enough to legally drink. Provided I successfully get the alcohol on the cruise, will anyone stop to ask for my id while drinking on the ship? Also- other country's drinking age is 18 instead of 21, will I be permitted to drink there? Thanks!
