Carnival Inspiration - March 2009

I just got through reading a few reports on the Carnival Inspiration.

I had a couple questions in regard to the ship, if you have been on it within the last year.

I have never heard of this before, but wanted to ask. If you had room service, did you tip? The reviewer said they did not tip as it was already pre-paid in the gratuties.

Also in the "nice" dining rooms, people were wearing shorts, flip flops, bathing suits. Did you see any of this when you were cruising?

You should always tip a few dollars for room service. It is an extra service provided and it's not already included. Of course it is at your discretion.

You may be able to get by with shorts and flip flops at lunch. Bathing suits no! Occasionally you may see someone get in for dinner with shorts. Bathing suits..come on who are they trying to kid.

I haven't been on the Inspiration recently.

As Cruise Fanatic noted, tips for Room Service are not included in Pre-Paid arrangements. They are also not included in Automatically Charged ship board accounts for other gratuities. I always tip for Room Service.

If, you are referring to the Formal Dining Room about the dress attire, I have not seen that in the Formal Dining Rooms. Here is a link to Carnival's dress code.
