My husband and I were wondering if all the food and entertainment are included in the price of our ticket? If so, how do we order? Do we show our sign and sail card? How does that work? I know that alcohol, sodas and some entertainment are not included. My husband just thinks that it doesn't seem right that everything is included in the price of our ticket and now he has me wondering too. Thanks in advance for the info.

Almost all food and entertainment are included.

Food- Not included, The Point, a restaurant that you can make reservations to dine in. It is 30.00 per person. I bought a soda card for 37.00 and that way I could have all the sodas I wanted without paying extra.

Entertainment - Most is included unless you want to play bingo, which you have to pay for bingo cards. The bingo we played was $20 per person. And of course, the casino is not included, but you can use your sail n sign card to play in it. Internet is not free.

The spa cost money. They also have alot of different seminars you can attend for a nominal fee.

All you need is your sail and sign card at all times and you will be fine, everything goes on that except tips.

Generally speaking, all food and entertainment is included. You only show your card when charging something (drinks, etc.). In the dining room you order from the waiter. In the buffet you help yourself. There are specialty restaurants that charge a service fee; and some special coffees, ice cream and pastries must be paid for--but these are all optional. Room service is free, but a tip is expected; we figure about 15% of what it would have cost in a restaurant.
Main thing is to relax and enjoy. You can have a GREAT time for little more than the price of your fare.

Yes, Food and Entertainment Included.

Some newer ships have specialty reservations only supper clubs, which is an extra charge.

Except for Sodas, Alcohol, or Special Coffees, is pretty much covered.

The only thing that would need to be ordered is Room Service, and that is included also. The Buffett is served 3 times a day, with Pizza 24 hours.

In the formal dining room, times are set for your assigned seating. They have a menu for each day that you can order from. Just like in a restaurant, but you need to be there on time for the seating. You don't have to show your Sail & Sign card except for them to find your table for you.

But to sum it up, unless you want to go to the special supper club it is all included

Also be aware that some speciality coffees like cappicinos and espressos are included with your dessert at lunch and dinner in the formal dining room.

There will be a door hanger in your room that allows you to pre-order a continental breakfast (coffee, danish, bagel etc) and have it delivered the next morning at your appointed times. And of course, regular room service...all free. Just include a dollar or 2 for a tip.

I do understand why your hubby would wonder about that, btw, because it is hard to understand how Carnival can do all that for the great prices we have been getting on cruises lately.

It does make it hard to go out to ONE dinner for 2 and pay $150.00 when I know I could cruise for just a little bit more!!
