I've already been on my cruise to the Bahamas..but I was just curious..what do they do in a case like today? Fantasy should be scheduled to cruise right into dennis. Do they go around and keep on time? Cut part of the trip? Cancel? Not go to Nassau? I know they have the legal right to do any of these but man that would be a bummer if you waited all year and paid for other arrangements, hotels or airports, vacation time at work etc.

I know my hubby went to Bermuda years ago and they went through a hurricane,... they just kept going but everyone was green by the time they got home.

The Captain would normally re-route the ship around the storm and/or change the itinerary to include different ports that are unaffected by the storm. There is no way the Captain would put the passengers (much less the ship) in harm's way.
